Connecting Google to BrainO

Two buttons. That's the whole job. Here's what you'll see and why, so nothing on Google's screen puts you off.

Straight up: Google shows a warning when you connect BrainO. It says the app "isn't verified" and it looks scary on purpose. We're building our own search and our own tools, so we haven't paid Google to bless ours. The warning is Google's, not a fault in your account or ours. You click through it once.

The two buttons

  1. Press Connect Google in BrainO. Google opens and asks which account. Pick yours.
  2. Google shows "Google hasn't verified this app". Press Advanced (small text, bottom left), then Go to BrainO (unsafe). "Unsafe" is Google's word for "we haven't checked it". Nothing unsafe happens.
  3. Google lists what BrainO is asking for. Press Allow. You're back in BrainO and it says connected.

What we take, and what we never touch

If Google says "access blocked"

That's Google refusing the connection for accounts it hasn't put on our tester list yet. Tell us from your dashboard (Support) with the email you used and we add you the same day; then the two buttons work.
